If people agree or disagree.

1. With the unrec added, I think it would be better to keep the confirmation dialog...
Just as a little speedbump, somewhat discouraging less-than-heartfelt recs/unrecs.

3. Nah. Yesterday, when you rec'd a thread, you had a lil popup appear...
asking if you really wanted to rec the thread.

They now removed that.

With unrec added, I think it would be better to have that popup back.

4. Not me. That has always irritated the hell out of me.
Reloading teh whole page is a tremendous waste of time. I wouldn't mind so much if it was a little javascript popup or something.

6. A PLEA to the "Cool Kids On DU. PLEASE Help!
With the new "recommend" or "unrecommend" feature, my life just became much more complicated.

I want so badly to do what the "cool kids" do.

And I need -- NEED!!! -- to know what the cool kids are doing -- recommending or unrecommending.

Could one of you cool kids here on DU give the rest of us a heads up about whether we should "recommend" or "unrecommend".

It used to be easy -- if lots of people were recommending, I always assumed that was what the cool kids were doing, and so I would join in.

Now, though, it's not so easy -- the cool kids could be recommending OR unrecommending.

I doubt that I shall get much sleep until I know that the cool kids will tell me (and others like me) whether we should recommend or unrecommend.

PLEASE HELP ME!!
