Most of us don't have time to read every single post. We go to the "Greatest" page to see what other DU'ers have recommended for us. I really like that feature.

But by adding an "unrecommend" button, controversial subjects will never make it to the "Greatest" page because + and - recs would zero them out. I want to read what some DU'ers believe are important posts, whether or not i agree with it.
