Two bars in two months...

You know it's bad when the best music venue in town and another downtown bar two blocks away go bankrupt and close within a forty day period.

1. I haven't had any money to go to a bar in weeks, although two local bars closed down

near my town also, one was a dive, the other a casino.

however it is sad when any establishment closes down, jobs are important unless they are at the end of an extortion, then those doing the extortion have to be fixed first.

2. I thought that Chinese restaurants were the canary in the coal mine

I wish I had gone with my intuition. RIght before the bust was official, I noted that two Chinese restaurants had closed down my area. Since I have known some really bad Chinese restaurants to go on for ages, seeing two so-so Chinese places go under was a really bad sign. Even bad Chinese food seems to have its fans, especially if it's inexpensive.

Where are these bars?
