This may not be news to anyone else, but has anyone noticed
the massive ramp up of right wing propaganda commercials being shown. They may be national, but they do mention contacting my bunghole Senator, Ben Nelson and making sure that the liberal, government ideas don't pass (Employee's Free Choice Act, of course shown as the Employees Forced Choice Act, and the Single Payer reform for Health care). Of course Ben is part of the problem, but it shouldn't be lost on the sheep that Ben is a Democrat, and those are issues the 'real' Democrats support, so contacting him to vote against his party is waste of money.

It's massive propaganda and they literally don't say anything that is accurate or what Congress or the President is proposing. It's shameful. There should be some sort of standard when a paid advertisement is run on our MSM outlets.

I think the DNC should run adds stating : "The Republicans don't like you. They want only things that will help themselves and their Wall Street Corporations and they are bamboozling you into thinking they are doing it because it will help you. They say that it will 'trickle down' to you. That's their agenda. Either back them and beg for the change, or support a Government that you can elect and vote out if they don't support YOUR needs.

Shame on those that actually believe this GOP crap.

2. That's why I've blogged in the past that we need more Progressive
ideas, blogs, and importantly MSM outlets to counter punch folks like CNBC who peddle the GOP, right wing, Wall Street crap all day long. Self fulfilling prophecy. If the only thing you hear about the Economy is coming from CNBC and right wings pigs on Wall Street, it's going to talk itself into further slumps.

Let the man and his administration do his job, quit brainwashing and back talking their actions. We elected him. If there are things he needs to be called out on great. But we're all in this together despite what Rush thinks, we will all fail together.

I believe we could eradicate torture, legalize gay marriage, and even get a decent change to our health care system, but if people are still being laid off, foreclosed on, and unable to retire because we've been dragged down by Wall Street in our 401k's, the general independent population will not care about the other 'ethical' issues.
