4. I shut it off when that bastard Jerry Foulball showed up.
What truly amazes me is that some people actually believe a dead guy came back to life. That's not just absurd, it's batshit nuts.

5. and that angels sit on their shoulders and talk to them
and that all that hocus-pocus stuff went on for centuries - parting the dead sea, walking on water, burning bush, water to wine ...

and then stopped dead in its tracks for 2000 years (except for images on grilled cheese sandwiches)

oh, wait...
Jerry Falwell still talks to the big guy and gets instructions - so it is all true after all

6. Umm...I believe that. Sort of. I admit it makes me a mystic, but I don't think I'm
batshit nuts.

14. I wander between it being a metaphor or something stronger than a metaphor
As a UU friend of mine likes to say, "I'm not sure what happened, but something definitely happened." Even scripture is divided on how physical the resurrection was. So am I.

Btw, offense taken. I mean, was this--> :eyes: really necessary?

16. Sounds more like a testament to...
...a less-than-optimum medical staff and the miniscule nature of human knowledge.

watching re-runs of "Married With Children."

that possibly can be broadcast and is Biblical pornography.

Jesus cares more about "preaching" than making sure the poor are fed? These two clowns are the height of revulsion.

Who is this freaking moron who is running the show?

7. I don't know who the "host" is, and I'm only vaguely familiar with Paula White
Why don't they ever ask me to be on these shows? Or someone who thinks like me?

If they say anything other than

Give money to the Poor.
Take care of the Planet
And Peace.

Then CNN are bigger whores than faux news.

18. First he'd look for some warm clothes. You realize how cold it is?
I guess after that he will see if there is an open deli. Some Nescafe and a hummus platter would taste good after 2,000 years. You'd expect they'd have a good deli in Heaven. They don't. Pack a lunch.
