1. Well, it depends on how one defines "filibuster proof." Some in the Senate aren't reliable.
Aside from that, it is about time Al won.

5. No but he has to certify. The article is just about Franken's
victory and as a consequence, Pawlenty has to swallow hard and certify Al's victory.

A filibuster-proof Senate is mostly a fantasy. It depends on the issue.
