surfing the TV for news that wasn't about Jackson yesterday/night

wasn't too fruitful. the carrying on by CNN was amazing. I don't get the 'why' of it. I can see reporting any new info about the situation, but then they carry on about it endlessly. repeating and repeating and repeating.

(one interesting thing turned up in the surfing - I discovered Operation Repo.

good grief! people become unglued and violent when their vehicle is about to be repoed. women went nuts and violent. talk about a dangerous job! I quite admire the head of the repo group and their two women repoers didn't back down when faced with crazies. have put this reality show on my viewing list.)

last few procrastinators who didnt get a converter box for my TV's...all I get now are two channels, this guy saying " The reason why you are seeing this program, is because you were too stupid or too lazy, to go and get a converter box, even though the government gave out these nifty credit card looking coupons...you were either too stupid or too lazy to get the god dammned coverter box, stay tuned this show repeats in spanish."

you'd turn the tv on. Or were you just wanting to hear people talk about something different?

Which is not the same thing as news.

If you want news, get a newspaper or read the online edition of several newspapers.

7. How can you live with yourself...

...being a repo-man? I mean, taking the very transportation of people who are already down and out, not able to make payments on their vehicles... kind of like debt collectors. How can you live with yourself, day after day, going after people who are already down on their luck, endlessly harassing them on the phone, trying to collect from them? Some occupations I will never understand...
