LOS ANGELES – Michael Jackson's family moved quickly Monday to take control of his complicated personal and financial affairs, winning temporary custody of his three children and asking a judge to name the King of Pop's mother as administrator of his estate.

In documents filed in Superior Court, Jackson's parents said they believe their 50-year-old son died without a valid will.

They also made it clear they believe they should take charge of both his debt-ridden but potentially lucrative financial empire and act as permanent caretakers of his three children.

1. How is it that someone who personally made millionaires out of god knows how
many attorneys did NOT leave a "valid will"?? This is just stoopid. He must have been out of his mind on drugs for the past 12 years not to make provision for those kids.

3. well, he was out of his mind on drugs for the past 12 years, at least
so it's perfectly possible that this is the truth.

hopefully one of MJ's siblings will stand up to their narcissist father on the permanent custody of debbie rowe's kids.

6. I read that she undid the relinquishment of parental rights deal shortly
after signing it, so she actually has rights. But I doubt she will want to get involved at this point.

I'm not sure if any of the aunts or uncles are any more normal than the grandparents.

8. debbie looks and sounds a little 'off kilter' her damn self.
Of course, you'd have to be a psychopath to deliberatly get knocked up and sell off you kids.

9. I read on the internuts today that the "interview"
with Debbie about the kids was a complete fabrication. Apparently, the post has been removed from the original site.

My guess - planted by Papa Jackson or his attorneys.

13. Grandma said there was no will in someplace I read - sorry, forget where, lol.
I then read later in the day that a lawyer has his will in a safe and will file it within 30 days. I SURE AS HELL HOPE SO.

Also, apparently his possessions got immediately trucked off somewhere to be auctioned, but now grandma says she wants them back from the party that has them.

This is gonna be the biggest clusterfuck of a probate case this town's ever seen.......

2. Make a buck off the kid while he's alive
make more off of him after he dies. Beats working for living.

10. Actually the attorney that brokered
The Beatles music catlog deal says MJ had a will and that he has it and will file it in the next 30 days.

12. i just wonder if the guy would really want his parents taking care of the kids
considering what his childhood was like... unless they have changed or something has changed over the years. his childhood was non existent.
