Oh shit. That's all I can say about this stuff..

3. He would be confused by the Christians. Why did they reject his
faith? He wasn't a Christian. He was a Jew. He never rejected his religion. He wanted to reform the corrupt practices. He wanted to make it more humane.

8. Two different planes intertwined ..one physical, the other spirtual...
Looking at what was recorded as what Jesus said, he was attempting to bring the physical and spiritual planes closer together.

Of all the things he mentions, he brings up hypocrisy more than any other, and it appears to be the only thing that really got him ticked off.
