2. Don't forget that while his behavior was close to the edge

he was never convicted of a crime. The only people who tried and convicted him were the gentlemen of the press. His judgment was questionable, but he never really knew what normal was.

I think he had a very sad life.

My interior armchair psychologist thinks that he didn't receive love as a child, and so wanted to love children as an adult. To give them what he never got as a kid.

This lead to inappropriate situations/behaviors that maybe he just didn't grasp the seriousness of. I mean, as you say, he never experienced "normal."

Just a really sad story, all around.

However, were Joseph Jackson's children sexually abused?

Or did the asshole father only physically hurt them (slapping, punching, etc)? Or did he only emotionally attack them (yell at, humiliate, etc)?

If any of the facts surrounding what Father Jackson really did to his kids ever gets out, it may explain what Michael did.
