Favorite Michael Jackson song?
I would have to go with "I'll Be There" for its heartfelt emotion.

26. Human Nature.
Like an idiot, I gave away my copy of Thriller (bought literally the day it came out in 1981) some years back. To this day, at times this song just pops in my head. I've been thinking about getting a CD for a while now.

But really, Jackson will always be the little boy, center stage, with his brothers behind him, belting out "ABC."

I wasn't even born when the Jackson 5 came out, BUT.............

Even I agree with your statement. That's how I want to remember him.

I hope someone will raise his kids with love.

(Showing my age, I guess. I loved the Jackson Five stuff. I thought it was so cool that some "little kid" was on TV and could sing and dance like that!)

28. Billie Jean for me
I also liked Beat It and Thriller - I was the right age (HS) when Thriller came out and still remember the debut of the video on MTV.

I also liked Rock With You and Don't Stop Till You Get Enough

Beyond those 5 songs, I really didn't like most of his music. I'm not sure I even knew anything by the Jackson 5.

30. Billie Jean.
I was really young when it came out, and it's the first music video I remember seeing. My aunt was(is) a huge Michael Jackson fan, and I spent a lot of time with her. I'm pretty sad right now.

34. MAN! There are so many!!!
When I was a kid I had such a big crush on Michael.
We lived in Lansing Mich.
That year The Osmonds came out with "One Bad Apple" And alot of the other 9year olds were swooning over Donnie but I was just crazy about Michael.
I remember when the Movie "Willard" came out And Michael Jackson released "Ben"
I am going to be 50 in august and I still love "ABC" And a slew of other soul classics By the Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson.
I grew up with this man creating the magnificent music that played in the background of my whole life.
I really feel like I have lost a good friend. I will miss his presence and talent in the world.

Edited on Thu Jun-25-09 06:14 PM by 4lbs
Billie Jean is not my lover.

She's just a girl who claims that I am the one.

The kid is not my son.

Well, maybe it's not a hit in his household anymore.

44. Like some of the others, too many to choose just one
but a few of my favorites were:

"ABC" (with his brothers)

"Don't Stop Till You Get Enough"

"It's your thing" (the newer version with his brothers)

"Thriller"

"Billie Jean"
