11. And you know that, because?
I've said this before, years ago even, that he was not working on all cylinders, but because of his childhood, he was trying to be a parental figure to those children. Inappropriate, yes, but NOT the same thing as molestation.

I hope it wasn't molestation either...

Crazy, about children he was, but was it molestation or having a protective nature that went outside the boundary of normal interaction? At least the latter, goofy or otherwise, wasn't malicious conscious intent.

Caused because of his bad childhood? I'm sure.
But he is still responsible for the pain he caused those boys.

38. Michael Jackson was not a child molestor
I love how people will claim that even though taking him to trail turned up nothing. Was he koo koo? Likey. A child molestor? Likely not, there has been no evidence outside of claims by parents who also tried to sue other celebrities such as Jay Leno. Many children who have stayed with him and been involved in his life have come out as adults to say these accusations are baseless.

It's just like high school. People want to pick on, and make up crap about people who are different. A modern day witch hunt. You can say Jackson lacked good judgement, you can say he was wildly eccentric, you can even say he never grew up ... the adult peter pan. But in America people are innocent until proven guilty. You can't say Michael Jackson was a child molester.

I've never been a big fan of Jackson's music. Pop music isn't my thing as much as other genres. But I've always been fascinated watching the pursecution of Jackson based on rumors that no one was ever able to prove even when they raided his home, and held a trail for it.

Jackson is/was the epitomie of "misunderstood" ... and a victim of the high school bully's and small town gossip cliques that never grew up.

A modern day Wonka. I hope he survives this heart attack. We'll likely find out his condition in a few hours, if not sooner. :(

I know you're probably just repeating things you've been told or have heard. So I'm not dissing you directly. But more making a statement about our "Lord Of The Flies" society as a whole.

42. I respect your opinion, and there likely was alot of that going on.
But I have to say that the evidence is compelling that he was guilty.

Maybe we'll never know for sure, but I hope that he is at peace and that his alleged victims find peace as well.

56. Imagine this scenario -
your child, a seven-year-old boy, comes home and tells you that a new neighbor just moved in down the street.

He's nice, has lots of great toys. Fun stuff, and he's kind of funny. Soft-spoken, gentle, a really nice guy.

His house has stuff inside that looks like a FAO Schwarz at Christmas, and he's invited all the boys - not the girls - to his house anytime they want.

He's a plumber, sort of gruff guy, not very friendly with the other neighbors.

But, boy, does he ever have some great stuff to play with!

Your seven-year-old son asks you if he can go there to play after school.

What do you say?

Or, your seven-year-old son tells you that the nice plumber down the street invited him to spend the night at his house.

What do you say?

57. First, your facts aren't correct
It wasn't JUST boys. And second, Jackson is far from a gruff plumber. I might ask questions, but after looking into and finding out ALL the information pointing to the man as merely a kind hearted and eccentric gentleman who was investigated, vetted on tv, and had multiple children who are now adults that spent nights at his house vouching for him and his innocent ways... I'd probably have no problem letting my child stay at his place.

I certainly wouldn't fabricate false claims that he was a child molestor just so I could get to his money. There is far more evidence that the claims against him were false than that the claims were true.

65. So I present you with new information and all you have to say is "yeah right"?
obviously no amount of information about the matter would change your mind. I suposse in your mind everyone is a child molestor until every last child on earth has declared they are not and even then... some of those kids must be lying?

You have absolutely no proof he is a child molester other than your personal bias.

It's sad that the first thing people think when they see a man who is friendly towards children and wants to entertain children and has lots of toys isn't "omgsh, that is so sweet, he really is in touch with his inner child" nope, the first thing they think is the absolute worse thing possible. and continue to believe it when evidence comes out to disprove their theory.

68. "... friendly toward children...'?
Yeah, sure.

A grown man who plays only with little boys and who's never seen in the company of an adult woman - let's not count Lisa Presley - is strange, and I would never allow any children to be around him.

Defend him all you want. You have your opinion of him, and I have mine, but the way it went, he won't even entertain another child, and that's good................

You can't be serious.

If you're serious then you're not smart or not a good parent.

You would NOT let your CHILD spend the night at the house of a strange man. Any man. Who gives a crap if he's famous. If you seriously would, then you are in need of help.
