Seven more...
Coalition officials said on Thursday that six American and four British soldiers were killed in separate attacks around Iraq, while an American helicopter crashed south of Baghdad, wounding four soldiers.

Four of the Americans died Wednesday and four were wounded when their vehicles were hit by roadside bombs in southern Baghdad and north of the city, the American military command said.

Two soldiers were killed Tuesday and one was wounded in attacks by small-arms fire in eastern and southern Baghdad, the military said. Officials announced this morning that an American soldier had died in Diyala, bringing to at least seven the number of American soldiers who died between Tuesday and Thursday.

At least 18 American service members have been killed this month, according to Iraq Coalition Casualty Count, an independent Web site that monitors military and civilian casualties.

2. How many deaths will be enough?
I keep thinking about the 18-yr old that was recently killed by "friendly" fire in Iraq. He went from bootcamp to 10 days of combat training straight to Iraq. He was killed two hours after he got there.

3. It's just a number.
None of them had friends or family who are going to miss them.

None of them had kids that will graduate, get married, or have children without the benefit of knowing their parent.

None of them left anything undone. No goals in life, no dreams.

None of them had any opportunities for a bright future ahead.

None of them have done anything special during their lives.

They're all just numbers.

How do I know? Because George Bush said so.

He couldn't possibly be wrong, he's the President of the United States. If he wasn't worthy of that office, he wouldn't be there, right?

:sarcasm:

RIP, troops. I'm sorry you had to die for a lie, but know that many of us won't give up until the people who put you in harm's way pay for their actions.

I hope all of you are in a better place now, and at peace.

No need to get worked up. In the history books of the American Hegemonic Theocracy of 10074, Iraq will merely be a comma...

7. Soon to be nameless, faceless, statistics in a lost war.
Valued just slightly above the hundreds of thousands nameless, faceless, Iraqi statistics that are dead for the ambitions of politicians.
