National HIV Testing Day - Saturday, 6/27

This year we're working to get the word on testing out to young gay males. The devastation in our communities of the '80s and early '90s may be a second hand story for many. Effective treatments may minimize the picture of what HIV can do. I work in the field. Infections among younger gay males are increasing. Those days need not happen again. On June 27, state and local health departments, community-based organizations, HIV testing sites, and AIDS service providers across the United States will participate in events for National HIV Testing Day. These activities will include health fairs, community education, special events, and extended testing hours.
