BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Connecticut church has outraged gay rights advocates by posting a video of members performing an apparent exorcism of a teen's "homosexual demons."

The 20-minute video was posted on YouTube and then taken down.

In the video, you see the boy being held on the ground and held up by church members.

At one point, he appears to throw up.

Gay youth advocate Robin McHaelen said the video appears to show abuse.

people, faithful or not. and these sick weirdos who perform these exorcisms are creepy, as are the people that run "ex-gay" ministries.

Gay Exorcism? What a strange practice that appears so ancient and cult-like. Confusing a young mind, that there's something wrong with them the way they were born, is one of the more shameful and judgmental practices that is, unfortunately, performed on our youth all too often in the name of "praying away the Gay". As a born-again believer, I find it quite amazing and destructive for these adults to employ their version of what love is on anyone that comes to them by choice or by being forced by their parents. This boy hopefully will find positive support elsewhere, that his desires are no more unnatural than anyone else's he goes to school with. As believers we leave the judgment to God - not man.


JOHN 3:16 does say "whosoever believes shall not perish", after all
