American Family Association (AKA the Anti Family Association) in big trouble with AP

The AP is enforcing its terms of service which preclude OneNewsNow from altering AP content. Tips-Q/GayNewsService has been communicating with AP's counsel on this matter. OneNewsNow, part of the conservative Christian American Family Association, is free to write whatever they want — no matter how offensive to the gay community. However, when they alter AP content, they depict the Associated Press as having a bias.

OneNewsNow apprently parses content to change the word "gay" to "homosexual." At times this has had comic effects. Olympic runner, Tyson Gay, had is name changed to "Tyson Homosexual." However, OneNewsNow has, at times, added, eliminated and even re-written content while still using the Associated Press trademark. They have knowingly done so to disparage the GLBT community.

OneNewsNow continues to alter headlines; something that we have brought to the AP's attention. A story by Denise Lavoie on Friday, titled Gay couples can use married names on passports was changed to Homosexuals can use 'married' names on passports.

that an organization has to manipulate the news and downright lie to keep getting donations coming from stupid people.

If the AFA, which doesn't give a fuck about families spent as much time loving as they do hating they might have a bonafide organization, but they are just klansmen without the sheets.
