Iranian photojournalist from Life mag missing in Tehran

NOTE TO OUR READERS: We are saddened to report that the Iranian photojournalist, whose pictures appear in this gallery, is missing. He has not been in contact with us; this morning we received the following email from one of his relatives. We will update this space when we have more details. THE EMAIL: Hi im , when he go out side yester day for he never came back home and also his friend and a lot of our young brave people, government arrested them <. . .> don’t let them suffer in those bloody hands. People who went to the protests were being advised to not go to their homes after Saturday's march because militants were following people to their homes and arresting/attacking people in those homes..maybe he just didn't want to bring that upon his family? Hopefully.

I first found the info on a Twitter entry..since there was a provided link to Life mag and there was a statement from Life confirming him missing, I figured it was safe/true enough to share.

I haven't seen any other US MSM pick up the story. Seeing as how they have been showing his pictures throughout the week, you think they would at least give his disappearance (?) a few moments of airtime. It's obviously not like the (recently free) kidnapped NYT reporter story that was not to be reported---Life has confirmed this person missing.
