Interesting how more of the rightwingnuts are calling for and encouraging protests in Iran due to the less than transparent election results and the incumbent staying in place.
It was clear in the last elections in this country, that stuff happens, on purpose, to negate the votes of the people. There was outrage here also, but any protests were met with swat teams and outrage from those on the right whose guy was put into office by the Supreme Court, vote padding, voting machine rejects, the companies that intentionally removed valid voters from the rolls and a whole host of behind the scenes criminal acts.
I haven't heard much discussion re: that once the United States breaks trust and laws, frankly any country is fair game to do the same. I'm surprised that the people in Iran are that surprised and outraged. Did someone hire a bunch of people from central casting? I don't have any problems replacing those who weren't elected fairly in any country and had hoped we in the U.S. would have impeached the last administration.
I do love protests of any kind. It's interesting that those who don't like them here, seem to encourage them in other countries.
And....ain't divorce a bitch!
