Propping up HC insurance companies as bad as TARP and bailouts
all rolled together. It's like an auto bailout only the companies are run much worse.

They produce really shitty product for an very high price. And they break down (don't pay) when you need them most. And our government wants us to keep giving them money via taxes or premiums? Am I stupid? $800 billion in 'administrative costs EVERY YEAR!
If they can fix some of the critical engine problems I might think about it, such as pre-existing conditions and recission.
But I much prefer the foreign models I see, such as some European models, that dependable Canadian model or that slick new Taiwanese model. They all have engines based on gov't regulation and all-inclusive membership.
I particularly like that slick single payer engine. Great response, never breaks down and you can go where you want with it.

Maybe if the insurance industry was unionized, the repugs would be fighting all out against it.

1. It's a lot worse.
It's a permanent waste of money. The tarp and auto bail-outs are temporary.

5. It's much worse....
At least the auto companies had the excuse that they were losing money.

The HC/HI industry is swimming in money. We're just making sure that the pool overflows.

6. It is also just a 'senic route' way to prop up Wall Street with more of OUR $$
Since insurers take our premium payments to play the market...

We but the halt on 'privatizing Social Security' (for now) so Wall Street has found other means for us to be forced into giving them part of our wages. Payroll withholding or insurance bail outs, all the same color money. And the working class ends up paying either way.
