4. There's a clip at MSNBC with Ed Schultz from yesterday

where he discussed this with the MN AG and a D lawyer.

The D lawyer thinks the hold-up maybe be the court arguing over whether or not they should order Pawlenty to certify Franken the winner. They may be taking their time because they realize it will set a precedent in the state.

5. A lot of people think that the governor is bound by law to provide certification of a senator's
election. This may not be the case if the judges are arguing over it. This could be the next court battle: Pawlenty challenging the state on the certification order.

6. From an earlier post,
I think there was mention that a ruling would come down next week and that it would be unanimous. The delay is caused by the fact that since it will be unanimous, every justice wants a hand in editing the opinion, meaning they will go through a lot of red pens this weekend.
