Anyone want to run against him in the great state of Indiana? You need to start now. It's already almost too late. He at least needs a progressive challenge.

1. Good luck. He's one of the leading lights of the Democratic Party, Inc.

5. His views and his stances are way out of date.
With rising unemployment, low tax revenues and financial woes breaking down the country, he is passe, one way or the other. He is old hat. Conservatism did not work. It cannot work. Things will just get worse until the country starts moving toward progressive policies. Bayh is holding up the entire nation with his out-of-date policies.

2. If Obama campaigns for him, it would be hard to accept. But, we need the numbers to hold
on to the "majority" whatever that's worth. With Reid as "leader", not much.

6. Bayh needs a progressive opponent to voice better ideas in his state.
So what if he wins, the progressive point of view will be heard by the people of Indiana.

4. Bayh needs a good scare.
If a Democrat did run against Bayh it would have to be outside the powers in Indiana.

Hogsett wouldn't dare.
Baron Hill is intending to run for Governor and he is a wuss.

Who else is there?

Since we are not likely to get a decent enough candidate to scare the hell out of him in the primary then we need to do the next best thing. Scare the hell out of him in the general election.

How? By encouraging voters that generally vote for Bayh to not vote for either candidate. The key is to reduce the margin of his win so he rethinks his position on the votes that almost killed him. Even legislation that he doesn't take a position such as EFCA and Health Care.
