Seldom Do I Express More Than A One Liner
However...

On my way to work this morning at 6:15, I witnessed two new women aged 50 + on the sidewalk with their belongings in tow. The first, two hundred yards down the road, was standing defiantly against the onslaught of speeding cars while minding her newly filled black plastic bags holding her most necessary possessions.

She had a face that would never be anything but proud. A few tears stained her cheeks... and I kept on driving.

30 seconds later I passed another woman. Stooped, she labored hard to keep the shopping cart on track. Her face exhibited the ruddy look of a sailor always at watch. Chafed and worn, her quest was to keep pushing forward to a goal that remains unclear to me. My guess, in the short time I observed her, was that staying still was a greater pain than to keep moving.

Yet again, I didn't stop.

I cried on my way to work this morning. I cry for all that suffer and leave me feeling helpless. I cry for being callous.

Be kind to those that you meet... and should meet.

Remorsefully,

BushDespiser12

3. Offered words of comfort. A hug. A cup of coffee down the road.
You?

4. I don't know what I would have done. I often give money to the homeless
in my community, but I am not much of a talker.

5. It was the stalwart fortitude to "brave the storm" that
caused me such consternation. Many times I feel like I am too worn out. I admired their courage in the face of very adverse circumstances. It was humbling. Troubling.

6. Get to know your local & state representatives......
don't be shy. REALLY, "don't be shy".

You'll have ENORMOUS IMPACT.....and you don't have to 'talk' so much. Politicians are GREAT TALKERS....Let THEM talk. Just make sure you politely "pipe up" when you hear them talking BS ;-)

That REALLY is all it takes.

7. Tis my point...
and my guilt. It doesn't take much to have a positive impact.

8. k*r The Money Party at Work
The system sentences people to suffering unto death because they can't afford health care.

The system sentences people to homeless because there are not enough jobs or because we have
MASSIVE unregulated and unpunished mortgage fraud.

Yet we reward the perpetrators of this with trillions of dollars while the people get nothing.

9. I felt the same way when I saw the young man in the park...
He was carrying a huge backback, and walking our direction. I was walking with my dog, leashless, as usual.

My dog went up to greet him, which is kind of rare, because he's a shy dog. The young man stopped to pet my dog, smiled at us, and then just went on his way, backpack and camping gear and all. I burst into tears after I looked into his eyes.

10. Be thankful you didn't see this in your lifetime:

But if the shit hits the fan with the economy, we may see that stuff returning.

12. Many indicators that we are still headed that direction.
The shakeout is in full swing from the criminal enterprises of Wall Street and its political backers.
