After realizing that we will be soon entering a period of hyper inflation due to our enormous debts...

It has all happened before...it will all happen again.

1. Oh, frak...
Commander Adama, where are you when we need you? The Cylons/GOP are going to ruin us all! So say we all.

2. The republicans were created by man
The republicans were created by man...
They rebelled.
They devolved.
They look like humans.
Some even think they are human.
But they are just soulless copies.
And they have a plan.
To blame everything on Democrats,
and destroy everything they touch.

4. Would that make Elizabeth Hasselbeck Number Six?
Or Dana Purina?

6. I dunno, but I'm thinking Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin are both copies of Number Three
They have that same whackjob bit going on.

5. I don't remember the episode of Battlestar Galactica that dealt with fiscal policy
It was such a wonky show, I'm kinda surprised they never did. But near as I know, macroeconomics never showed up in the episode guide.

8. I thought the last BSG episode was great, really well done.

But to your original point, Germany back then tried to find its way by spending on war, and authoritative dictates.

We do not have to make that choice.

It all happened before? I don't think I believe that, and there are many BSG things I don't believe. But it had some really good stuff in that show.

One of my favorite scenes from that episode.
