Any racism experts around?
I saw a girl today with a tattoo that had the word "Blood" with a tree growing out of it.

Is that a racist tattoo, or is there another meaning?

2. It would be purely contextual
without knowing the details of her life or her loves, it would be impossible to judge that one.

6. That's a Thomas Jefferson quote, I think.
Have Neo Nazi scumbags co-opted it?

Their symbol is a tree at the entrance to the neighborhood, some have a tattoo of it. I wouldn't necessarily call a gang tattoo racist, though.

10. Gang possibly, or tweakers?
Edited on Wed Jun-17-09 10:07 PM by NYC_SKP
On Edit, if the person was white I have to doubt that it's about Bloods and Crips.

Maybe it's a tweaker thing!

And in our part of the world, Nortenos vs Surenos (also red and blue like Bloods and Crips).

It the person was wearing red, the odds are greater that it's a gang thing.

I wouldn't call it racist but as someone upthread said, it needs context.
