Vice President Dick Cheney told conservative radio show host Rush Limbaugh during a phone interview Thursday that he was "disappointed" House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA-D) incorrectly conveyed to Syrian Prime Minister Bashir Assad that Israel is ready for peace talks, and chided her for "bad behavior."

Limbaugh asked Cheney, "What's the administration view today, what's the emotion, what are you thinking about Speaker Pelosi's trip to the Middle East, specifically, the conveyance of the incorrect message to Bashir Assad in Syria about peace talks with Israel?"

"Well, it's not helpful," Cheney replied. "I made it clear earlier that I thought this was -- created difficulty, if I can put it in a gentle form

2. I don't care that Cheney accidentally shot someone in the face
His two DUIs piss me off, though. Especially after the director of the best Christmas movie of my generation was killed by a drunk driver.

Plus, there's that whole lying to start a war that slaughtered hundreds of thousands of innocent people thing...

D-U-I CRASH SUSPECT HERE ILLEGALLY
Thursday 04-05-2007 4:40pm

Immigration authorities said Wednesday the man arrested on suspicion of causing the drunken head-on crash on Sunset Blvd. that killed movie director Robert Clark was in the United States illegally.

Clark's 22-year-old son Ariel was also killed in the wreck.

Hector Velazquez-Nava was booked on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter and was being held on $100,000 bail.

Police said he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and was driving without a driver license.

Velazquez-Nava is a Mexican national with no record of previous deportations, said Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Virginia Kice.

12. Further proof that being born in America does not make one better than being born elsewhere.
Between Cheney's two DUIs and Bush's unknown numbers, it's only luck that neither of them killed anyone. Deport Cheney and Bush, and let sober illegal immigrants take their place. They aren't good enough to live here.

3. I know Lynne, the hypocrisy of this is totally mind boggling.
Add to that, the fact that these two cretins both evaded being drafted during Vietnam by getting deferments.

4. Cheney called in because Rush's audience is the only one who
would still listen to Cheney. He's down to that and Fox News.

5. I wonder how high those airheads can get...
It always amazes me that people like this discuss relevant issues w/such disdain.

I know this beating a dead horse, but if we don't let dialog enter this situation, we are going to fail.
As much as I hate to say this, displays of power and dialog are what some cultures understand. You have to talk, but you've also got to show you're ready to back up what you say. Both are necessary, and at the same time, if progress is going to be made.

Israel survives because it's neighbors understand that Israel will back up what is says w/the military if necessary. The approach we've taken w/the ME, is that we either just want to talk, or we start some horror like Iraq. We didn't back up the rhetoric about bin-Laden, we lost a lot of credibility right there. When the Marine barracks went up in Beirut, Reagan scooted, it showed that we were not willing to back up what we were saying, and set the stage for future attacks.

Cheney and Limbaugh have their opinions, wrong ones IMO, but they lack both knowledge of the military and of diplomacy. They are jerks that have air time when it pleases them, and they have no knowledge of how anything works, except how to make a profit from the misery of others.

Every time a prominent (Vice president yet) politician gives that creep air time I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Even if it's another complete creep like Cheney.

11. That's just sickening. Is Cheney out of his frikkin' mind?
There's a phrase for this type of ploy, I can't think of what it is, but I'm reminded of a cowdog herding the cattle back into the pen.

Cheney is a very disturbed individual.

13. The NERVE of that woman....
...supporting PEACE talks in the Middle East. That REALLY undercuts the Bush* administration.
Doesn't she realize how HARD they worked to get everybody shooting at each other so they could sneak off with the OIL?
Do you realize how much taxpayer money they spent to get a good war going? Now Pelosi and the Democrats want to ruin everything. Thank gawd men like Cheney and Limbaugh are still running things. Imagine how much trouble we would be in if the SMART people take over.

PEACE?
