GOP activist says escaped gorilla was "ancestor" of Michelle Obama

link> http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2009/06/gop-activist-likens-gorilla-to-michelle-obama.html

The activist, a former state senate candidate named Rusty DePass, responded to news of a gorilla breakout at a local zoo by posting to Facebook on Friday: "I'm sure it's just one of Michelle's ancestors -- probably harmless."

Where is the constant media overreacting now, you motherfuckers. Huh. Yeah it's buried in the shadows of far left blogs. I guess this is just not worthy of attention or a constant badgering until this pathetic weasel is forced to make a public apology to Michelle Obama.

Of course Michelle Obama has not started crying every night since this despicable comment was made. Yet Palin is still outraged and of course the media whores are all to willing to keep her pathetic outrage front and center.

So I will ask again, WHERE THE FUCK IS YOU OUTRAGE NOW, O'REILLY, BECK, RUSH, WALLACE, VAN SUSTEREN, HANNITY, WHERE IS THE CONSTANT BADGERING THAT YOU USED NIGHT AFTER NIGHT ON DAVID LETTERMAN.

So in closing I would like to send a big FUCK YOU to the media who demanded "publicly" that this GOP activist apologize. YES THANK YOU YOU FUCKING BASTARDS.

Sorry about the rant.

7. I'm thinking because it would be quite hurtful to Michelle. When I
first read this I prayed she didn't see it. NAACP seems to have a good handle on this. They're really going after this guy...

11. I doubt Michelle cares what some ignorant simian brained stupid jerk says
He's only hurting himself. I'm sure Michelle is quite aware that there are bigots out there. Just like gay people are quite aware that there are raging homophobes out there. You can't let strangers dictate how you should feel.

It's racist as well. Michelle has too much dignity to say anything about it.

Defend that useless dumbshit Sarah Palin to the death, but not a word for the First Lady?

You know the one who gets all the press to hang on her every word....I think her name is Sarah Palin. Yeah...I'm pretty sure that's her name.

10. I'm sorry--wouldn't that be equally insulting to a man?
I don't really see where gender enters into it. If that had been said about Barack (and similar disparagments have occurred), would it not be as bad?

14. Yes it would be offensive to any African American
(sorry dorkulon- lost internet connection)

Yes it would be offensive if the joke were directed at a AA man. It's a racist comment first, and then an attack on another prominent lady in politics secondly. My point was the comparison of the two events and how the media has treated hem. Letterman's joke was in poor taste, but it was a joke and had no malice behind it. This GOP activist comment was clearly made to demean Michelle Obama, a woman, and was made with malice and the clear intent to hurt, on top of being a racist comment. This comment was made specifically at Michelle Obama, but could easily offend any African American. You are right. But where is the media outrage.

17. I hate to argue against something that hurts the GOP
Especially since I like Letterman and think the fuss about the Palin jokes is beyond overblown. But there is another significant difference here: Letterman is a bigtime celebrity talk show host, and this other person is a GOP operative nobody. It's not exactly parallel. I mean, honestly, can you imagine the shitstorm that would land on Letterman's head if he had compared MO to a gorilla? So while I sympathize, I don't really think it's a fair analogy.

This guy is low in the GOP, but he did run run for state Senate. But I will concede your point is a good one. Still there have been a ton of "so called" nobodies on the left that have made comments that the media has run with for entire weeks. Maybe this guy is not a big fish, but that hasn't stopped the media in the past.

15. Don't send a big FUCK YOU to the media on Dave's behalf.
This whole "controversy" has considerably boosted his ratings.

I wonder if Palin even appreciates the Irony? Actually, I wonder if she can even define what irony means?

16. Sexism
is the last 'ism.' As for the Leftie Boyz around here, it's fine to ridicule palin and the knocked-up daughter. I doubt if you'll get much righteous indignation over the sexist and racist ridicule of The First Lady.

Boyz like to make fun of girls. It relaxes them. It makes them feel powerful. It takes their mind off of the fact that they themselves are such Frauds.

Long live the Patriarchy! :puke:

22. Well, there's a much bigger myth than that.
Something about 19 idiots with box cutters and magic cellphones who defied the laws of physics. But the "liberal" media sold that pile of bullshit too.
