Bachmann Not Ruling Out Bid For Governor
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) appears to not be ruling out a potential bid for Governor of Minnesota. An aide had previously said Bachmann wasn't interested, but apparently that door is still open.

"It would have to be if I felt like I was supposed to do it and right now I feel like I'm where I'm supposed to be," Bachmann told Minnesota Public Radio. "If my heart moved in the other direction and I had the tug, I'd do it. I wouldn't be afraid to run for office. I just don't feel the tug."

What might that tug look like? Well, Bachmann did say back in 2006 that God called her to run for Congress, and that she and her husband fasted for three days to ask God if this was indeed His will.

6. Run, Baby, Run.
Gawd I hope she runs for Governor. She'd lose in a huge landslide. Minnesota is very embarassed that this nasty woman is in the House. Her district is conservative, but she barely won the election, due to her "selected by God" nonsense and other bizarre behavior. It's likely that she'd even lose her district election in 2010.

But, if she chooses to run for Governor, it will be the end of her political career, and good riddance to bad rubbish.

So, we should encourage her to follow "God's will" in the matter and throw her hat into the ring for the Governor's race. Minnesota will have a Democratic governor in the 2010 election. Dim Polenta, the current governor, is about to piss off everyone in the state today with his single-handed budget cuts. They will include cuts to everything from health care to schools, along with state money that goes to the cities. He will make many, many enemies today.

10. CNN Analyst

That could be her next position. Luckily, she can't put two sentences together, so that will probably limit her opportunities.

I'm pretty sure she's going to get bounced from the House in the upcoming 2010 election.
