Fuck the AMA. Yeah, the AMA represents docs - the kind that own 'clinics' and run high end plastic surgery spas and own borderline nursing homes in inner cities getting rich off screwing the patients by sucking in Medicare and Medicaid payments. AMA docs are generally the ones that define "waste and fraud".

2. Have you ever heard the reason Truman's bill was voted down by

the senate in 1948? Pure flat out racism. I believe the vote was something like 49-47. I remember that Strom Thurmond was damn proud of stopping it.
Racism you ask? Well part of the bill would have done away with "separate but equal" hospitals.

4. they run a whole hell of a lot more than "plastic surger spas and

borderline nursing homes. The family practice clinic I use is owned and operated by 3 female physicians that are memeber of the AMA. OBTW, They will not see new medicare patients. So much for the fraud angle. The do not do plastic surgery or own nursing homes.

the Physicians I know are the kind you see in the hospital making their rounds at 6:30 in the morning and ones who keep the clinic open until 9:30 at night to let you know your cancer test came back negative.
