19. Absolutely
I've been living with the belief that I had RCC for about 8 weeks. I won't quickly forget that.

May we never take our health for granted.
My mother in law is going thru chemo for Ovarian cancer and it's obviously an awful situation for her. I hope you stay well.

20. That makes one of us
My head is still spinning. I know I'm supposed to be thrilled and I've even written it but really I just feel shocky. I've been scared or denying I'm scared for two months now. It crowded out most of the rest. Now I have this vacuum that should be full of joy and thilledness. I guess it soon will be.

32. 2 months.
That's a long time. I had that for a couple of weeks.

It's not really like getting a gift, it's just getting back to normalcy after having something taken away, returned.

I had some rather bizarre and funny things happen. I was in an Oncologist's waiting room and the section of the newspaper laying next to me had the classifieds for cemetery plots for sale. Then I had to have my eye "aspirated". After that was over a couple of kids came up to me and wondered why I had a patch over my eye. I told them I was studying to be a pirate. They told their parents I was "a nice man".

39. That is funny and bizarre and the fact that it isn't cancer is the only thing that makes it that way
methinks.

22. Every thing in the last two months has been tainted by the possibility of cancer
I'd love to do __________.(don't forget, you might have cancer) Maybe we can take the kiddo to _________.(unless you have cancer) Rinse, repeat, ad nauseum. And plenty of people telling me not to think about it. Have you ever tried not to think of ___________. Now, I get to have unedited thoughts again! That, and I don't have to die with this.

25. I think I will once I get past the gobsmacked feeling
And yes, I will have a beer, a gluten free beer mind you, but this is definitely a night for the celebratory alcohol. One of those, "My kidney is okay, let's destroy my liver!" moments. LOL.
