Evangelical Seminary & Bible College invites Ann "Edwards is a Faggot" Coulter to speak

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Conservative pundit Ann Coulter, who was criticized for her use of a derogatory term to refer to Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, is coming to North Carolina.

Coulter will visit Matthews on May 10th to speak at Southern Evangelical Seminary.

School president Alex McFarland asked if there was anyone who hasn't said something extreme from time to time. He says the bottom line is that her book is a powerful one, and the message she is bringing is one that needs to be heard.

The book McFarland refers to in a statement is "Godless: The Church of Liberalism."

The seminary, which teaches a literal interpretation of the Bible, was co-founded in 1992 by then-Calvary Church pastor Ross Rhoads.
