She puts her kids out there knowing crap will happen, as it does, and then she cries victim and poor me while she turns her kids lives into a nationwide reality show and milks it for all she is worth.

Its pathetic that she needs to turn to this lowest common denominator BS while real politics goes on without her. Please spare us these beauty queen politicians who spend no time on the serious business of this country.

Geez it is sad that such a lightweight passes for Vice Presidential material. John McCain...shame on you!

That being said, if Palin really wants privacy for Bristol and the rest of her family, then she needs to stop shoving them down everybody's throats. I mean, nobody is FORCING Bristol to go on talk shows and have interviews with magazines about her unplanned teen motherhood and heaven forbid somebody might discuss Palin's anti-contraception "abstinence-only" approach to preventing (or in the case of Bristol, NOT preventing) teen pregnancy and/or how well such an approach actually works (or sometimes doesn't) in the REAL WORLD. :eyes:

14. just because her daughter is collateral damage doesn't mean it's munchausen by proxy

she's an opportunist and clamoring for more power and more attention and more donations and she doesn't care who she has to climb over to get to where she wants to get. she'd sell her own mother, as the saying goes, or in this case promote the idea of statutory rape involving her daughter, if it would get her more power.

call it blind ambition, sociopathy, narcissism, whatever.

munchausen by proxy requires a pattern of harm to a specific individual and to vicariously feed off the sympathy. she hasn't repeatedly targeted her daughter and she doesn't feed off the sympathy for the daughter but on the anger toward the "attackers".
