Those opposing public health insurance option

Ask them:

If they are currently receiving Medicare, Medicaid, etc... then ask them why?
And those of them that are planning on retiring and using it as their health insurance ask, again, why?

Why don't they all drop it and stay strictly with private insurance?
Wouldn't this be more inline with their beliefs and remove them from being damn hypocrites regarding health insurance?

2. A woman called into CSPAN WJ yesterday, identified herself as a Medicare recipient.....
..... then went on to say that she opposed a public health care option because the government shouldn't be in the healthcare business.

:wtf:

With the right propaganda, I swear you could get some people to drink a glass of arsenic.

:dunce:

3. Just keep on with the education........
one person at a time. Or, on boards, several people at a time. Health care is not only a right, it's one of those things that should not be run on a for-profit basis. The bottom line has no right to make a decision on whether someone is going to live or die.

6. Like I said.......it's about the profiit motive
not deciding who lives or dies, and who is worthwhile saving....or not.

4. I think you'd find that most on the right...
Would likely support your ideas, remember they hate social security, medicare, medicaid, section 8, etc.

In their minds everyone should have to stand on their own two feet, earn their own way, and if they can't make it, tough tomatoes.
