Seems to me the level of violence has increased since then.. at least the police/mercenaries response to the protests.

FWIW, Ahmedenejad may have actually won, we don't know if he did or not, but the government response has been extreme. It's not the crime..it's the cover-up. I hate to see anyone be an apologist for the bs going on over there.
