BWAHAHAAHAHAA!!!

EDIT: The short version of the segment: Even though #cnnfail didn't do shit, and we're getting our news through twitter, *you* shouldn't trust twitter, and should only trust cnn.

Seriously.

2. Wait let me get this straight....
CNN is getting it's breaking news from Twitter? In other words, instead of going out and doing actual journalism they are just browsing Twitter and using that as a source for their reporting?

3. At least Twitter is a live feed
They used to get all their "news" from the Enquirer.

4. The word "just" might be going too far, but yah otherwise...
But their Rick James moment was to immediately utilize FUD techniques against the very source of their reporting.

It was pretty slick how they managed to avoid all reference to #cnnfail, though.

9. I have both of those open, #cnn and #cnnfail
and I think the activity is about tenfold on one of them.

Guess which?

11. Heh. I think #iranelection is the primary one overall. There's a move underway to change it...
to #iranrevolution - we'll see how that pans out.

6. Well I have to admit that this was what finally got me to pay attention
to Twitter. I've resisted all this time, but when it is the PRIMARY place where real-time news is being reported by unfiltered fingers on the ground, it's a good time to ditch CNN et al. And they got that message pretty clearly.

Now I just have to figure out how Twitter actually works

But can't get carried away. :)
