Christian college puts political correctness above scripture

A Christian college in India allows applicants to indicate whether they are male, female, or transgender when they enroll.

Matt Barber, cultural affairs director at Liberty Counsel, says Madras Christian College administrators must have misread the book of Genesis, believing God created male, female, and transgender.

"You know, this is just ridiculous and insane," he contends. "It's really sad that a Christian college is joining in and entertaining this leftist, secular, humanist delusion that is transgenderism."

He calls political correctness a barrier to truth.

"Political correctness is a wall between what people want to be truth and what is actual reality," he adds, "and the more that universities help to foster these untruths and help to entertain delusions and walk people away from reality, I think the less credible the mission of those universities becomes."

One student from the Indian school who decided to take a course at Loyola in the U.S. refused to check off anything but "T" on the application -- an option which was not available.
