Poll question: Of the announced candidates for president (dems) who do you support?
This list doesn't include Clark or Gore, for instance, because they haven't announced they are running. If nobody else got into the race at this time which of the following would you likely support?

1. Assuming no Gore
Obama gets my full support. Obama/x or x/Obama are my tickets.

I would enthusiastically support Edwards as well, and Richardson is an interesting candidate as well.

I would, of course, vote for any Democrat in the general election, even Hillary.

7. Edwards/Obama
or Obama/Edwards would be dandy for me. I wish for Gore too. But it really is time to let the adults run this ship of state.

8. Without Gore
in the race, I support Edwards. In fact, I'm saving the 20 bucks I spend on coffee out and buying beans to make it at home every week and sending him a check.

9. I support Edwards, Kucinich, Biden, and Dodd.
Biden and Dodd would make crappy presidents, but I think the way they are speaking out lately does the cause some good. I voted for Edwards in the poll, but would probably take Kucinich for president if I actually had a choice.

I dropped a folding table on my big toe the other day.

11. Assuming no Al Gore...
I'll vote for whatever Democrat wins the nomination. ANY of the democratic candidates would be a thousand times better than any Replican. There are a couple of candidates that would cause me to hold my nose as I voted, but I'd still vote for them.

I chose Richardson in this poll, because he does have a lot of varied experience, and he just signed a medicinal marijuana bill in his state - AFTER he started running for POTUS. That shows rare courage in the climate of today's politics. He and Kucinich are the only 2 candidates that have shown any real sense in the war on marijuana, and it is an important issue to me. I like his stance on many other issues, and he seems to be a man of uncommonly good sense. He doesn't light up a room with his charisma, but he's likeable and plainspoken, and he exudes a calm competence that is appealing.

But I like most of the candidates we've got out there now, and they've all got their own advantages and disadvantages.

13. I took that SelectSmart test and matched up with Kucinich, Gore and Obama,
in that order, but John Edwards was also high on my list and I could easily support him, as well...:hi:
