but letterman making a joke about an eighteen year old who has been making the rounds on tv herself, that's off limits. like i said on another thread. while I personally think it was in poor taste, and that they shouldn't joke about the kids.... but letterman is a comedian, and obama was talking about campaigns and talking heads going after the kids. And the idea that palin, who spent the campaign disparaging obama and saying he 'pals around with terrorists' and all that crap she said about him and wright... and all the whackjobs she incited at the rallies.... i don't think she is one to say anything about anyone. trying to make it sound like letterman was talking about the fourteen year old. give me a break!!

10. the problem is that she wasn't even offended that he made the joke about Bristol

she decided to use it to try to help her politically. so instead of defending Bristol and condemning the joke as it was, she made up a bunch of shit to try to gain sympathy and support for her.

that's just gross.

12. well i think that is worse than anything anyone else says.

she paraded those kids around like props. she used the little baby as a prop most of all. see, i have a baby with downs syndrome. a certain amount of having your kids there for photo ops is normal, but as i remember, she would have them up very late to be at her things. She used bristol too. What she did is more disgusting as far as i am concerned than what anyone else could have done. Any jokes letterman did were about bristol, but she tried to turn it into something about one of the other ones. Probably so that she could go into this whole victim thing. Yes, she is the victim. Poor palin.

It was beyond shamless. Matt Lauer was saying how he felt that David Letterman was wrong for insulting Palin's Daughter. (He Feels her pain) .. oh brother spare me...

Lauer than went on to suggest that Palin is the new face of the Republican party.. that maybe she would team up with Rush Limbaugh in 2012.

palin is a joke. maybe if she hadn't been picked for vp candidate last year, she would have had a chance. they could have schooled her a bit so she didn't sound like an idiot. but there are those who seem to want her to be president... relatives of mine. and i can't figure it out... the woman is an idiot. she doesn't know anything. I shudder at the thought of where we would be today had mccain and palin won in november.
