Very good article on the recent shooting

A couple of my distant relatives were, for a brief period in the early 80s, infamous outlaws who went on a shooting rampage. You see, they really didn't want to pay their taxes. When the dust cleared, my relatives and three law enforcement officials were dead. James von Brunn called them heroes. I called them Gordy and Yori. More on them in a bit.

I've known these types of men all my life. I know what makes them tick, what ugly things they ponder when they sit outside on the porch in June. At the center of this stratum, this confluence of hate, is L.O.V.E. -- not a run-of-the-mill love like one might feel for Jesus or Ronald Reagan, but a true, head-over-heels love of a man's best friend, The Gun.
