Officer Johns did his duty ... and gave his life. I think it's significant (more than just symbolic) that William Cohen and his wife were there.

His family must bear an awful loss ... the loss of a man doing an honorable job at a place where such hatred is even more unspeakable. For some reason, this is even more obscenely tragic than Dr. Tiller, if such a thing can be imagined.
