Does Anyone Ever Actually Go To Jail For Lieing To Congress
Libby went to jail for lieing to a Grand Jury, he was under oath. People go to jail for lieing to judges and jurys when under oath all the time. So there is a precident for going to jail for lieing under oath.

Does anyone ever go to jail for lieing to Congress before committees when under oath? I take it for granted that Members of Congress and Senators themselves must be immune to prosecution for perjury in their statements before committees just because there are so many obvious lies told; just watch Stevens, Graham, that master of deceit Hatch sometime.
