a problem with the insurance companies interfering when they don't allow my doctor to give me a procedure that I need and they won't cover or pay for it... GMAB!

7. In single-payer, the ONLY thing between you and care IS the doctor
Since all billable services performed by a doctors are paid for without pre-approval from the payer.

ya know after all the fuss over legal abortions and Terri Schiavo who would have guessed...hmmpf..

rite now I have my insurance Co between me and my doc....I can only have what meds the IC says....only have lab work done when they say, only see what specialist they think I need,ect.......and I can count on my rates going up every January...while they cut benifits....the next time my rates go up I will have choose between my health insurance and my house. Great choice for a diabetic no?....we have cut everything we can out of our budget to keep our coverage but we are one hike away from being priced out.
