The stories Joe Scarborough does not want you to read
http://www.larryflynt.com/notebook.php?id=17

According to Anna Dobbins, a producer at WEAR-TV, Joe was on the phone with the local ABC affiliate in Pensacola within three hours of the discovery of the
body, and before the family was notified, to say that "a young woman had died in his office and that she had a complicated medical history, specifically
surrounding 'stroke and epilepsy.'"

snip

According to Dobbins and others, about a week later, after the Klausutis family wrote an excoriating letter to a local paper, Serrano called back to ask that
they stop reporting the "complicated health history."

snip

The autopsy report revealed that Lori had suffered two skull fractures and an additional wound. A 71/4-inch crack all but spanned the top of her head, from right temple to left.

As a likely consequence of that blow, blood poured in from a steadily pumping heart to form a fist-sized hematoma at the left temple. There were separate 11/2-inch eggshell
fractures, essentially pulverizing the bone, deep inside the skull behind the right ear. The back of her head was bashed, and her lungs were filled with bloody foam, suggesting
that she took a relatively long time to die.

1. The simple answer is NO...the msm does not it deem it necessary
to report on a former republican congressman who probably killed this girl for whatever reason (not going to speculate over her dead body here).
Now, if a Democrat had a blow job...then there aren't enough headlines available for that!

3. This was at the same time they were convicting Gary Condit of murder in the MSM.
Just in case you ever wonder if you are imagining that the media is on the Republicans' side, remember that at the same time you had two equally prominent Congresscritters with missing or dead office staffers they were rumored to be having an affair with, and most people only heard about the Democrat.

And I don't know what Gary Condit is doing now, but he's not a premier personality on a major national news channel, as far as I've seen.

And just to clarify, I followed this story closely, and I do NOT believe Scarborough had her murdered (he was in DC, so obviously he didn't do it himself). I don't believe for a second he'd have had her killed and left in his campaign office. But there is no doubt that he manipulated this story, created false leads in the media, got the coronor and police chief to lie about the crime scene (both claimed there were no obvious signs of trauma, then the coroner later admitted, proudly, that he had lied to avoid a lot of questions), and rather than providing full cooperation to allow for an impartial investigation, he pulled every string he could to keep this story low-key and to get a final ruling that kept him out of the national spotlight.

And in the quite possible case that she was murdered, Scarborough helped the killer get away, probably mostly to save his own reputation. Even if she wasn't murdered, he was more worried about his reputation than a full investigation for the deceased, to be sure it wasn't murder.

5. There can be little doubt that it was murder but the who and how ...
.... have never been answered. Scarborough and his aid calling t.v. stations and telling false stories w/ in
hours of her body being discovered is more than a little troubling.

8. Also troubling
is Jeb Bush calling in a sleazy medical examiner -- who had lost his license for filing false reports in another state -- to rule that this was a heart attack.

Joe the Scar will be paying the Bush Crime Family back for this for the rest of his life.

13. There is the answer! The Bush Crime Family
Edited on Wed Jun-10-09 12:55 PM by goclark
was at it again.

Now I realize that they covered for Mourning Joe and he is paying them back 24/7. They own him.

He may not have killed her but he was sure guilty of covering up.

If it was just an innocent knock of the head against a desk -- what would the problem be?

Since he was not even in town, why would he need to get involved with Jeb Bush etc.

There is a real story here.

15. Nobody ruled it was a heart attack.
The ruling was that she had a heart arythmia which caused her to faint and strike her head on the side of the desk, causing the head injury.

20. The medical examiner had a history of bad and incomplete reports.
He was fired in Missouri for falsifying autopsy reports because he let them pile up, then just filled in what he remembered. In several cases he was wrong. He also left a severed head in the trunk of his car for an extended time (presumably not loose). He was lazy and sloppy, and that's what was behind the falsified reports.

In 2003 he was also fired in Florida for the same thing--letting reports pile up, filing incomplete and sloppy reports, etc. He was lazy more than sleazy.

19. There's a lot of doubt that it was murder. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.
The basic premise of someone having a heart arythmia, blacking out, and hitting her head on a desk to cause a contra-coup and a fractured skull is plausible, but barely. Natasha Richardson proved that head injuries can be fatal even if seemingly minor.

Plus, the two linked articles suck. They are conspiracy-minded and weak on the facts, wanting to prove murder (or at least raise suspicion) rather than presenting the facts. The second link was written, it seems, before the final autopsy report.

On the other hand, Klausutis was around 5'8", IIRC, so her head fell at most less than three feet. Given that a faint would be straight down, generally, not like a falling tree, it's hard to believe that the fractures could have happened from just that type of fall. It's not impossible, it's just a good argument for a much more thorough and open investigation as a crime--something that wasn't done.

Again, I doubt Scarborough was involved in a murder, but there is no way he was sure it wasn't murder when he first heard of it. Yet instead of demanding an investigation, he started a cover-up and a misdirection campaign about her health. That means he had something to hide. An angry boss demands a full investigation of the murder or death of an employee--a guilty boss worries how it will affect his image.

A little more about Joe at the time. He won his previous election easily, and was seen as having a promising career. Soon after the win, he announced he was divorcing his wife. At the time there were allegations he had been caught in an affair. He denied this, of course. Shortly after this, he announced he was retiring from Congress to spend more time with his family. That's right--the family he was divorcing. Again, rumors of an affair, or several, surfaced, and he denied all of them. Then, Lori Klausutis was found dead.

So Joe wasn't trying to defend his political career--he had already announced his retirement. There were allegations of an affair--not necessarily with Klausutis. But something was up in Joe's life at that time that caused him to divorce, give up a promising career, and fear the body of a dead woman in his office.

Maybe the affair was with Klausutis, and Joe was afraid of that coming out. Maybe it was with someone else, and Joe just didn't want an investigation of any type near his office. Maybe watching Condit's problems, he was just afraid of what the media might do to him. Maybe it was something more complicated that we have no knowledge of.

Any way it goes, he hampered an investigation and made sure we'll never know whether Klausutis was murdered. In doing so, he made sure people will always wonder if he killed her.

11. I once saw a lady faint at a bar and hit her head on the foot rail..
She went limp and slammed her head on the brass bar with the full force of her weight. She walked away with just a bump on her head. What's Joe's excuse?

17. Gary Condit was also not a murderer, in spite of media attention suggesting otherwise,
Joe on the other hand did engage in behavior of denial almost before the body was cold. The whisper campaign against Scarborough was not splashed across media and he ended up on a major media outlet. Now he has written a book and is being touted by Christopher Buckley that Joe Scarborough "Can save the Republican Party" all the while the same media outlet that resurrected Scarborough, MSNBC (Chris Matthews another piece of work) is speculating that Joe could run for President.

Now as to what his role or involvement in this affair only Joe knows for sure. It has also been used against him by Republicans (caving in to threats by Catherine Harris) and not just Michael Moore or "liberal" internet bloggers. All in all I guess you would have to trust Florida law enforcement. This man is a real piece work and his connection to the Bush crime family (via his wife) for me further poisons the well.

All in all Joe has the right amount of patina that seems to be favored in selecting Republicans for high office.

That's about the same level of stupidity this Scarborough story rates. Now go wash your mouth out with some soap.

12. Remember this funny "joke" he made with Imus.
On May 29, 2003, Scarborough appeared on Don Imus's radio show. While complimenting Scarborough on his sense of humor, Imus said, "Don't be afraid to be funny, because you are funny. I asked you why you aren't in Congress. You said that you had sex with the intern, and then you had to kill her." Scarborough laughed and replied, "Yeah, well, what are you gonna do?"

21. I've always wondered how he got that cushy job replacing IMUS on MSNBC.
What background did he have to be an entertainer? Former Congressman replaces top talent who was booted off for racist jokes. Then not only do we get Joe (with the rumors about the dead intern) but we get Mika whose father was a prominent advisor to President Carter and a well know foreign Policy Expert.

Very odd programming choice for MSNBC ...almost seemed like someone had an agenda.
