Just saw this on TV. One pound of hair can absorb up to a quart of oil. The cut hair is made into mats that can be reused up to ten times. I need to find out more about this and notify the barbers. Years ago my daughter cut off about two and a half feet of her hair for Locks of Love, a cancer support group. Now there's another good use for your hair.
