It's just absolutely delicious:

That's Sacha Baron Cohen dropping in, of course.

3. I honestly
believe this was a grade A set up and Eminem was in on it. I just think this was a big joke and he played his part and pretended to be mad

4. I don't think so. Eminem's "jokes" are never on himself.
And he's not that good of an actor.

5. I think you're dead on. Eminem is not afraid to make himself the butt of a joke

Especially when his name is fading from the headlines.

6. Eminem Meets Bruno's Crotch, Leaves Movie Awards

Eminem Meets Bruno's Crotch, Leaves Movie Awards

Never butt into Eminem at an awards show — especially not with your butt.

The rapper, who had an infamous encounter with Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at the 2002 Video Music Awards, was in no mood to get cheeky with Sacha Baron Cohen's flamboyant alter ego, Bruno, at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards. Baron Cohen, wearing angel wings and a scanty thong, descended on wires and staged a crash-landing upside-down onto Eminem.

"Are you serious?" a visibly angry Eminem yelled. "Get the off me!"

After bodyguards pulled Baron Cohen from the rapper, Eminem stormed out of the theater.

Now the question is, was he in on it? MTV isn't talking, but we doubt Eminem and his entourage could act that well.

7. Eminem was obviously in on the gag.
Otherwise it'd be sexual assault.

10. It was all staged, you know.
http://www.tvsquad.com/2009/06/02/bruno-and-eminems-ass-face-prank-was-a-hoax/

It looks like Eminem wasn't the real butt of Sacha Baron Cohen's prank at the MTV Movie Awards. (And yes, I do get paid by AOL to write jokes. God bless the writer's strike!)

Entertainment Weekly confirmed from an unidentified source close to the network that Cohen said the prank was staged and that Eminem wasn't really mad that he got a face full of ass.

EW also reported that Scott Aukerman, the show's head writer who comedy geeks will recognize as a Mr. Show actor/writer and one-half of the comedy duo The Fun Bunch, leaked the news on his blog. That entry seemed to have disappeared from his blog as fast as Eminem's ass-smelling face from the awards show.

A small amount of skepticism creeped through the interwebs after the moment, and rightfully so. Remember back when Triumph the Insult Comic Dog tried to get in the rapper's face during the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards and Eminem got all huffy with puppet master Robert Smigel? You know your ego is out of control when an inanimate dog has a better sense of humor than you.

It seems that Eminem has since grown a chuckle hump, if the story is indeed true and Marshall Mathers was in on the joke. It's also a brilliant one at that. Cohen is a born media miscreant who loves creating trouble in the media, and Eminem always seems to find new ways to cause trouble of his own. It was a perfect prank comedy marriage, even if such marriages are no longer allowed in California.
