1. What a deep theological question

Certainly your religious understanding and perception are nothing short of masterful. This is a dissertation worthy question, and I think you are wasting your time here at DU. You need to be off writing on this subject, because only you are wise enough to do this subject justice. I am certain such a work, asking the question of where the White Iraqis are, would really change us for the better.

5. The subtly racist notion that Arabs aren't "white"

Yet Britons, Jews, Finns, Greeks and Italians somehow are, disturbs me.

The self-proclaimed "white" people in the area moved to Persia, where they started an empire. These "white" people may be found in Iran.

In particular, the Qashqai in southeastern Fars provice (Parsus = Persia) are noted for looking like the educated urban American's stereotypical notion of "white" people.

This definition of "white" is sometimes referred to as "Caucasian" after a mountain range essentially located in... the Middle East.

While the semitic peoples of Arabia (who are no more or less "white" than Israelis or Greeks) were busy writing the texts of their civilization to which you refer,

"White" people in Nordic countries were busy committing human sacrifice and drinking out of the skulls of their enemies.

(just like those EEEEVIL Mayans whose "religiously insane" culture the DU humanists proclaimed their superiority to in a recent thread)

6. Perhaps you mean the biblical Elamites? (Elam=Garden of Eden)

Their descendants (basically pagan, as are some of the Kurds, another people who have lived in the area since biblical times) live in the marshes and are inaccurately known as "marsh Arabs" since they are not Arabs.

They do however occupy the area commonly referred as the Garden of Eden, i.e. Elam, the marshes of the lower Euphrates and Khuzestan (which Bush and his puppet Saddam have managed to or shortly will destroy in one of the world's greatest ecological disasters; I'm sure folks here know about that.)
