Clinton and Bush to clash for cash in Canada
Source: Washington Times

The well-worn cliche is "time heals all wounds," but in politics, the saying often ought to be "money heals all wounds."

On Friday, former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, who spent years railing against each other, will appear together in Toronto for what is being billed a "conversation."

No one will say how much each will take home, but estimates run as high as $150,000 apiece for the two-hour appearance. Just to be one of the 6,000 people inside the city's convention center costs $250, with VIP tickets at $625 and the sold-out "emerald" section seating going for $2,500 (buyers in those front rows also get a photo with the two presidents).

The event will be only the second appearance by Mr. Bush since leaving office; his first was also in Canada, in Calgary. Mr. Clinton, meanwhile, is an old hand on the speaking tour: He did, after all, haul in $31 million in speaking fees between 2001 and 2005.

Friday's event is being put on by the Power Within, which produces "full-day inspirational, motivational and entertaining events with the power to ignite your spirit!" its Web site says exuberantly. The Toronto-based company is affiliated with self-help guru Tony Robbins, "the nation's foremost authority on the psychology of peak performance," the site says.

11. Not likely to happen, considering who Bill's best friend has been in recent years

"Bill, go easy on the boy in there. You know he's not right in the head."

12. You think Bushboy doesn't KNOW Bill has been key to protecting BushInc for decades now?
Bushboy has NEVER feared Bill Clinton....and never will. Unless, of course, Bill decides he was wrong for protecting Poppy and his cronies for so long and confesses....that would be a great change and a great way to show he actually CARED about this country more than Poppy's global fascist agenda.

2. Clinton and Bush 'railed against each other for years' says the Moonie Times. HAHAHAHAH
Bullshit. Clinton helped Bush sell his war and used his summer2004 book tour to VIGOROUSLY DEFEND Bush's decisions in Iraq and even linked it to 9-11, just like Bush.

Clinton even claimed he never even heard of the Downing Street Memos on national TV though the report had been out for over a month and the fact that he was Tony Blair's top American adviser at the time the memos were drafted.

Clinton influenced the rush to war a helluva lot more than Lieberman ever did....too many democrats can't admit it.

6. Clinton enacted the Iraq Liberation Act...he started bombing Iraq before Bush did.
It sickens me that Hillary is our Secretary of State.

7. Why is it that I can find, download, and watch the rarest of live musical performances...
But can't find any of this good stuff in it's entirety on the net? I am dying to see the "clash" between Bill Maher and The Former Lead Singer of Warrant (Coulter), Jim Carville and Fatboy went at it today and I can't find more than soundbytes, and I am sure this performance will go unseen by us poor expats as well. Anyone here know where I can actually find this stuff?
