15. If you gave him an hour to speak
you'd figure out that he's batshit insane and has no real idea how a modern economy works.

9. "GOP" and "sane" are no longer compatible words.
The GOP is dominated by fascists. There is no sanity involved. Powell is kidding himself if he thinks the party still has hope. They are entrenched in fascism with FOX leading the charge.

On the plus side, the "GOP BASE" is mostly overweight fundamentalists who can't do much more than bring tea bags to an outdoor BBQ. (No offense to people with a few extra pounds, but I think that is a fair observation of the "base").

I can't think of anyone even at our state level that isn't kowtowing to the narrow leadership.

Not bad people, but didn't speak up during the abuses and crimes of their party during Reagan, Bush, and Bush.

Collin Powell or Chuck Hagel I could accept.

I used to really like a guy named Warren Rudman. At one time, when I was fresh out of college, I thought he was actually a Republican I could stand to vote for. Unfortunately, during the last leg of the Obama/McCain competition, he turned to shit (to be blunt). He accused Obama of relying on fake voters to support his run for Presidency.

He lost every bit of respect I had for him.

It's sad, because he actually, at one time, was a good man.

Sucks when that happens.

Fuck you, Warren Rudman.
