5. We don't know everything about all the detainees, but we do know something about most of them.

3. I can see someone murder an individual - but he is technically not guilty of anything w/o a trial
but I still know he/she did it. We let murderers out on technicalities even though their guilt is clear - the option is to do the same with those in guantanamo and set them free regardless of what they are known to have done because the evidence is thrown out on technicalities.

6. If that's true...
Edited on Sat May-23-09 09:10 AM by Ready4Change
That all those within Guantanamo must be known terrorists, then why have hundreds of the orginal inmates been released?

We grabbed them, secreted them away, held them for years. all supposedly for the 'good' reason of them being the horrible, worst of the worst terrorists who must not be allowed free, right?

Then why have the majority of them been released?

7. I believe only one prisoner has been charged and convicted since it opened.
Amazing lies from the right?

Naw...... Just more of the same.

8. That funny...

When the F**k did msnbc get any reporters. They are just snatch and tear talking heads that only read the
newspaper to know what going on. Calling anyone from msnbc reporters is like FAUX NEWS being the a real new source.

9. Well, he's just a known pedophile.
Just because he hasn't been convicted of it (just like those at Gitmo) doesn't matter.

(and just in case . . . . :sarcasm: )

10. It is almost amazing how these "detainees" became "known terrorists"
almost overnight. When did the MSM decide to take the allegations of the Bush folks as facts rather than suspicions, and unproven suspicions at that?

How many of these people were fingered by others seeking personal gain, or the removal of political oppositions? Who's to say?

Another legal atrocity in a long string of them.
