If Cheney was so sure that his polices would help keep America safe ...
... then why didn't he run for the presidency based on his record and his policies?

I've been pretty busy this past week, so I haven't seen if anyone has been able to answer this.

6. Why is this repeated so often?
Edited on Fri May-22-09 10:16 PM by madeline_con
He was not quiet, or hiding. He appeared on TV shows all the time, growling out of the side of his mouth about how great things were, how the "war on terror" was a smashing sucess, "death throes" blah blah blah... to anyone who'd listen.

7. I don't recall seeing him that much
particularly in later years- but OTOH I don't watch a lot of the MSM. There were times, however, that I heard so little about Cheney or heard him being at his "secure undisclosed location" that I half wondered if he was still alive. Now, it's like he can't put himself out there enough to tell everybody what he thinks Obama is doing wrong- as if most of us really care. Of course, we know that Cheney doesn't really care about how anybody else sees him. After he told Senator Leahy to GFH, his reputation as a classless jerk-off has pretty much been cemented. At least Gore had the decency to wait a year and half before expressing any criticism of GWB and when he was critical it was focused on Iraq and not so much GWB.

13. He spoke to closed audiences of RW choir
and to intimidate from TV Studios. So, no, not really out much. And whenever shit hit fan, he was generally reported to be 'in an undisclosed location'.

No, he WASN'T out and about much.

We see more of him now that he is campaigning against being held accountable for war crimes.

the thousands of Iraqis slaughtered, and how many US military deaths - for no reason?
