From A.E.I. she was appointed as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs and from there got to
hire people from the Heritage Institute who had no experience to over see the re-building of Iraq. People who
had been pizza drivers and sold ice cream but who were "true believers" got very important jobs in Iraq after
after we took over the country. Millions and millions of dollars were spent with almost nothing being accomplished
for the Iraqi people ..... My own :tinfoilhat: thought is that millions were skimmed off the top and or channeled to
"the right people."

Bottom line Cheney ordered torture to try to make a link between Iraq and 9/11 and right now Dick and daughter
Liz are trying to re-write history so they don't go down as world class crooks and thugs.

4. I noticed pictures of Kate O'Beirne sitting behind Lynn Cheney at the Enterprise Institute
Hail, Hail, the gang's all here.

Haven't seen or heard too much from her lately, thank God. Her husband helped put incompetant nincompoops into places of responsibility in Iraq with Party affiliation being the main qualifier. Good link about all that below.

7. Thank you! I couldn't resist grumbling about that "patronage" job ...
but didn't remember all the connections to Heritage and other wingnut cronies.
